Rewards

Within the class the Golden board system is used to reinforce the expected high standards of behaviour.  Pupils try to earn “Golden time”, a special 30 minute slot during the week when they can choose the activities that they would like to do.  “Golden time” can also be lost if behaviour is poor.

Within the school the most common form of reward will be house points and merit awards.  These will be given for both effort and achievement.  The award of a merit will be celebrated within the school at the weekly “Achievement Assembly”.
